I am working on an architectural visualization that you can walk around and interact with the building. But once you are playing the scene it is extremely hard to control your view with the mouse as it only take a small movement of the mouse to change the view dramatically. Is there a way to control this? I have checked "Use relative mouse?" in configuration
Also how or where do you change the height of the shooter view relative to the ground or floor?
thanks

Hi,
I'm assuming you are using the default navigation as set in the Settings panel. From there, under Collision, you can set Distance to Ground and Distance to Wall.
A better way to set up your navigation would be to use a First Person View Control animation (found under View changes). That way you will have more control of your settings.
For an architectural vizualization, you may want to consider using Walkabout instead of shooter controls so the users has more control over speed. With Walkabout, besides the keyboard keys to move about, the user can move through the scene by holding the left mouse button down and moving the mouse forward and backwards to move. Turning/looking around is done by holding the Shift key down. I recomend unchecking Auto Look Return so you can go up and down stairs with the correct view.
hope this helps- let us know if you still have the sensitivity problem as we may need to see a sample.

You can also control the mouse speed with, "Walk Speed", "Run Speed" and "Turn Speed".

thanks for the reply, the project I am working on is related to research that I am currently involved in which is looking at using computer gaming engines for other purposes. So I am keen to keep with the standard WASD navigation.
I had seen the Distance to Ground and Distance to Wall setting, but it was not clear that was the settings, so good to know. May be could had more info in the help box.
thanks
