View Full Version : HDR.fx Problem?

Not sure if it is something I am doing wrong...
However if I use the HDR_Lighting_Env.fx effect (with a screenblit) then try to publish a user executable file, it will crash while (what I assume) it compiles all the available assets.
If I remove the HDR screenblit and material from my creator file then publish a user file it works fine.
I am not sure if this is a known issue or not.
Version: 3,1,0,2096
OS: Windows XP 64Bit
GPU: Nvidia 9800 GTX
Anyone else had any problems with HDR?
Is there anything I can give you guys to see what is causing the issue??
Cheers,
Tim

(Obviously I missed an announcement... Sorry)
Just noticed you have posted an update, 2097. I will try this first and see if it fixes my problem!

If you have a simple rsn file that replicates this crash when you try to publish it, could you attached it and we will try to fix asap? I've tried to replicate this issue here, but I don't get the problem you are seeing.

Hi Ben,
I have sent you a private message with the file location. It is on our FTP site as a ZIP file. It is a small part of the whole scene, but still causes the problem.
I have also sent it to Phillip.
If you need me to send the WHOLE scene then please let me know and I will send it through.
Thanks for the help!

Seems like we have an office in most time zones ;-). Esperient has offices in, California, France, UK, and Canada.
And Ben's right, sleep, who needs sleep!
